It's funny how you can never expect anything when you're creating art, in any form.
Coming up to the SALA 2006 exhibition, I had been to the venue a couple of times and kind of sorted out in my head what I could do with the space and how it could all fit together, but I needed something to fill in the middle of the largest wall where two landscape (in orientation only) paintings were being hung. After I realised that I had this long canvas sitting in my bedroom I quickly slapped some paint on and ended up with this piece.
Surprisingly enough, this was one of the pieces that people enjoyed the most at the launch party and it even sold on the first night!
You don't need to stress with art... sometimes it ends up surprising you with what it means to different people.
It's really striking - I can see why it sold. I hope it's not insulting to say that I could see this as CD cover art or on a T-shirt. It's a cool, forthright design.
haha, um.... if you're interested I could look into it - never done anything like that before though so I can't promise anything

I love how, despite how "messy" the style appears (and I don't mean that in a bad way, it's just for lack of a better word), the shapes are still bold and defined.
-- Fhew! I didnt realize these mutations were for the better.
That was a fluke! It almost never happens! Theres only a 1% chance of that happening.
In my experience, theres 100% chance of that happening.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P
